Kongjam Day is a regional holiday in the state of Manipur, India, and it falls on April 23 each year.
Kongjam Day is to honour those who have lost their lives fighting against the British to protect the freedom of Manipur during the Anglo-Manipuri War in 1891. The Anglo-Manipur War was fought between the British Empire and the Kingdom of Manipur and lasted from March 31 to April 27, 1891.
